Day 1: Phnom Penh to Battambang
Day 1, we will start from Phnom Penh in the morning after breakfast, (time will be flexible between 7:30 and 9 am). After heading the road about an hour and half, we are going to visit The Oudong Mountain, old capital city and visiting The Cambodian Buddhism Meditation Centre. Our next stop will be at Por Sat City Centre for lunch or coffee break. Kampong Loung village ( the floating village is optional before reaching into the Por Sat city. The approximately arrival time around 5 pm. Dinner time will be optional, getting at the hotel or local food outside.
Day 2: Battambang Day Tour
Day 2 in Battambang, we are going to see the sites around Battambang, such as, the famous Bamboo Train, the Khmer noodles is made by the local villagers, tasting the bamboo sticky rice, which starting to cook early in the morning over hours with the fire. Next stop is visiting The Ek Phnom Temple (11th century with a modern pagoda next to it). Therefore, after short break at the hotel in the afternoon, we are going to visit Banan Temple (started building in 1050 and finished in 1218 by two different kings), and Phnom Sam Pouv Mountain (beautiful views, 3 natural caves and a temple on top). We will end our day at the bat caves where we can see millions of bats flying out of the cave to hunt for food at dusk. Driving back to hotel at the end of our day.
Day 3: Battambang to Siem Reap and Temples Sightseeing
Day 3, we are going to leave from Battambang to Siem Reap after breakfast, our traveling time approximately 2 hours and half to get into the Siem Reap city, I recommend getting a certified guide so that you can get the best experience by learning more about the temples. For the “medium circle tour” we will see Banteay Kdei, Sras Srang, Pre Rup, East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean and Preh Khan. This schedule is flexible and we can discuss which temples you would like to see on the route.
In the evening, we recommend seeing the performance of Phare, the Cambodian Circus (performing stories, dance, and amazing acts).
Day 4: Sunrise and the famous Temples
We will start our day early by seeing the sunrise over Angkor Wat. We will tour the main temple of Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Keo and the famous Ta Prohm (held together by tree roots stretching across the temple).
Day 5: Kulen Waterfall and Banteay Sreiy Temple
First we will go to Mount Kulen, where there are waterfalls and temples. There is an extra fee of $20 per person for this temple and we need to be there before 11 am because there is a one-way road up that becomes crowded later. After that, we will continue on to a hike to Kbal Spean, which is a small stream with linga carved into the riverbed, along with other carvings in the river rock. We will have lunch in the forest near the river. We will visit Banteay Srei, the famous pink temple.
Day 6: Siem Reap to Phnom Pehn
We can leave at a flexible time and make our way back to Phnom Penh. There are some places to see on the way to Phnom Penh, The Kampong Plug Floating village, Kampong Kleang Floating village, The Ancient bridge, the last stop will be at the spider village. We will stop for lunch along the way, for a drive of approximately 6 to 7 hours.
