Day 1
Pick-up from the hotel and or the location which set-up, then going to have a cup of coffee. The first day itinerary is visiting The Genocide Musuem, and The Killing Fields. In Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 to 1979, a horrible time in our country. It is really suffered and unacceptable story for the citizen, but it is a really deep memorial. Our first stop is Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21), the former high school-turned-prison that was used by the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979. After this, we are going to visit the Killing Fields, about 17 km south of Phnom Penh, where many of the prisoners from S21 were taken to be killed. Then after these points ended, we are heading back to the city for the lunch break. The schedule for afternoon with some quiet reflection time visiting The Odna Loam Pagoda on the riverfront in Phnom Penh. It is a very beautiful and amazing golden temple which was built long time ago.
Day 2
Time to meet-up again at hotel or the set-up location, we are going to continues our schedule. Our first stop is visiting the beautiful Royal Palace, and the Silver Pagoda. I recommend hiring a guide, so you can get the most understandable of the stories. We will then continue to the National Museum, a beautiful architectural space as well as housing many national treasures from temples around Cambodia. There more in the afternoon, either going to Wat Phnom, the beautiful little Boudhi temple on the top of the mountain, then after, visiting the Central Market or the Russian Market and explore some local cuisine by having lunch in the market. We will end our day with a drive along the riverside.
